Why do i want to work as a ux-designer?
When I first heard the word UX I had no idea what it was, but I was curious to figure it out. I started studying at Stockholms Tekniska Institut and instantly felt that this was something for me. I want to work as a UX designer because I enjoy working in a team and being able to use my creative mind. I have gotten a good understanding of the design process and the importance of good UX. My goal right now is to dive even deeper into the world of UX and learn more. After having made my first customer greatly satisfied I can’t wait to deliver more value to new clients.
About me
My name is Niklas Modig. I’m currently studying a two-year UX design program at Stockholms Tekniska Institut. After I graduated high school I had no clue of what I wanted to work with. I took a bartender course and finished it with getting the highest grade to become a bartender for the following couple of months. I sometimes really enjoyed it but I still didn’t feel like it was something that I would want to work with for the rest of my life. I feel like UX is something that I want to keep investing my time in learning because I’ve really enjoyed it so far.
PS. My bartender skills haven’t gone anywhere if you feel like having a cocktail sometime! ;)

I have played football since I was six and still play. I believe it’s a great combination of working out and meeting your friends. And few things beat the feeling of hitting a perfect shot top bin!
Since the first time I got access to a computer I’ve always had a will to learn new things. I’ve spent many hours learning all kinds of different programs like Logic, Imovie, Photoshop, Figma and now lately Sketch!
